We met about 4 1/2 years ago at Grace Bible Church when I was in the youth group and Joe was a leader for the youth group. Our friendship started a year later when I started at Texas A&M and Joe helped me get involved on campus. Over the course of the next year our friendship grew into a dating relationship that officially began September 19, 2003 when Joe drove with me and my mom to Florida so she could get home without flying. We dated for the next 2 years and 3 months before getting engaged.

We got engaged on December 18 at Brison Park in College Station. It was so sweet and somewhat unexpected. Then we celebrated with dessert at Christopher's, a Congratulations video made by my roommates, and a dinner with friends at Wings 'n More. It was such a fun day!!

Our wedding will be the first weekend in May, and we couldn't be more excited. The details are coming together nicely, and the blessed day will be here before we know it!
